Magicut origins go back to 1948 when the founder, Late Mr. R. C. Gupta opened a hardware retail shop and a few years later started wholesaling as well. In 1963 he started his first factory for engine bearings and gradually expanded to manufacture a variety of products such as Bearing, Diesel Engine Spares, Copper Alloys and Cutting Tools. Over the last 58 years, through diversification took place, the focus has never shifted away from engineering.
The cutting tools business was set up in 1982 with the objective of manufacturing High Quality Saw Blades & Cutting Tools such as Hand & Power Hacksaw Blades, Bandsaw Blades and Tool Bits,. Later the Company added other products in its range such as Hole saw, Hacksaw Frames, Reciprocating Saw Blades and Brazed Tools. Starting with a modest production the company has grown rapidly to achieve the unique distinction of becoming the largest manufacturer & exporter of high quality Hacksaw Blades from India.
In the last two decades, the company has gained a wealth of experience in Hardware and Cutting Tools production. It has also kept pace with the changing needs of customer and thus evolved itself as “Customer-Centric” company.
In order to achieve maximum customer satisfaction, Magicut is continuously investing in its Plant and Machinery and thus ensuring first class quality for all customers. Magicut’s success has hinged upon its ability to consistently deliver the right quality and timely execution of the delivery schedules.
Today Magicut is a 3rd generation, professionally managed, public listed company driven by experienced employees. The company is listed on the Mumbai Stock Exchange (BSE).
